Description
Alocasia ‘London Eye’ Aurea Variegated is a rare variegated selection derived from Alocasia micholitziana (Frydek) and is defined by its rounded, orbicular leaf shape. The velvety leaves display aurea variegation in yellow to golden tones caused by reduced chlorophyll, often appearing as irregular sectors or marbling against a deep green base. This cultivar differs from standard Frydek forms through both its softer, rounded leaf morphology and its lighter color expression. It has a compact growth habit and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil to support healthy growth and stable variegation.
