Alocasia Sanderiana Pink Variegated (aka ‘Pseudosanderiana’) (wk27-F)

Alocasia sanderiana pink variegated (often referred to as pseudosanderiana) is a rare variegated form of Alocasia sanderiana distinguished by its elongated leaf shape and flowing, undulating margins. The foliage has a deep green base with pink variegation expressed in soft blush to rich rose tones, appearing as marbling, streaking, and irregular sectoral patches that can vary significantly from leaf to leaf. In cultivation, this form is commonly differentiated from Alocasia sanderiana ‘Nobilis’, which has a more rigid, triangular leaf shape and a more structured overall appearance. While “pseudosanderiana” is not a formally recognized botanical name, it is widely used by collectors to describe this non-nobilis sanderiana type. This plant grows upright and performs best in bright, indirect light to maintain coloration, with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, stable conditions with elevated humidity.
