Begonia cucullata aurea variegated *Growers Choice*

Begonia cucullata aurea variegated is a rare variegated form distinguished by luminous yellow to golden variegation layered across rounded, slightly cupped green foliage. The leaves have a smooth, lightly glossy texture and display a wide range of patterns, from fine marbling and speckling to large sectors of bright aurea coloration that shift subtly as the plant matures. Its upright, branching habit creates a full, bushy appearance that responds well to regular pruning and container culture. New growth often emerges especially vivid before gradually deepening in contrast, giving the plant a constantly changing appearance throughout the growing season. It thrives in bright indirect light with consistent moisture, airy soil, and moderate humidity, while remaining more adaptable to typical indoor conditions than many terrarium begonias.
