Hoya Mathilde Silver ‘Grey Fairy’ (wk30-J)

Hoya ‘Grey Fairy’ is a cultivated Hoya selected from a sport of Hoya carnosa × serpens ‘Mathilde’, first identified in China and known for its stable, silvery foliage prized by collectors. The thick, slightly succulent leaves are rounded to broadly oval, with a medium green base overlaid by broad silver and light grey tones that blend naturally across the leaf surface, giving the plant a distinctive, luminous appearance. This Hoya grows as a climber or trailer and thrives in bright, indirect light with warm temperatures and moderate to high humidity. A well-draining, airy soil mix supports healthy roots and leaf development. Providing support or allowing the plant to hang encourages fuller growth and helps the silver tones develop more evenly. Under ideal conditions, it may produce clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers typical of Hoya carnosa.
