Philodendron ‘Dark Lord’ Pink Variegated (wk29-UE)

Philodendron ‘Dark Lord’ Pink Variegated is a rare form with elongated, paddle-shaped leaves that emerge bronze to reddish before maturing into deep, near-black tones, now accented by unpredictable variegation in creamy white, pink, or soft yellow. The patterning ranges from fine marbling and speckling to bold sectoral patches, often shifting from leaf to leaf and creating strong contrast against the dark foliage. New growth typically shows the brightest coloration before gradually deepening, adding a layered look as the plant matures. It grows in an upright to climbing habit with thick stems and a relatively compact structure, benefiting from support to encourage larger foliage. Bright indirect light helps maintain variegation without stressing lighter areas, and watering should be done once the top portion of a chunky, well-draining mix has dried, as it is sensitive to excess moisture.
